Cultivate a culture of safety and wellbeing in our organization by delivering HSE services to our Darwin site and regionally.
As an HSE Advisor, you will provide technical and practical support to research staff, affiliates, leadership teams and stakeholders, while collaborating with the broader HSE team.
You'll drive continual safety improvements, manage projects and shape the future of our HSE programs. If you're passionate about enhancing HSE and wellbeing culture, excel at building relationships and possess strong communication skills, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:- Implementing CSIRO's HSE Plan by planning and delivering key HSE activities and initiatives.
- Contributing to HSE Plan projects and positively challenging the status quo to drive continual HSE improvement.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with site work groups and providing recommendations to guide management decisions.
- Developing and reviewing policies, procedures and systems and offering solutions to challenging HSE issues.
- Providing hands-on HSE support to operational staff and liaising with the HSE Specialist when more specialist support is needed.
Based in Darwin, NT. Applications for this position are open to Australian/New Zealand Citizens and Australian Permanent Residents.
