About the Role

This is a permanent hybrid role based in Surry Hills with working from home flexibility. You'll work across all squads and chapters in your value stream or tribe, focusing on the most complex and highest impact technical changes or implementations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and guide squads through the application lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Identify areas for focus and dive deep to ensure technical success, leveraging expertise across the end-to-end technical stack.
  • Develop Proof of Concept (PoC) capabilities to validate assumptions before significant investments are made in technology or team time.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking an exceptional technical leader with:

  • Excellent technical and leadership skills, with the ability to translate business strategy into technical solutions.
  • Experience in solution design, cloud infrastructure, and hosted cloud environments in Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (IAAS) technology, including Terraform.
  • Experience working on transformation programs, network design, subnets, and access control.
  • Ability to troubleshoot bottlenecks and performance issues across the full stack.
  • Experience with asynchronous design patterns, commercially off-the-shelf and custom-built applications, and modern web architecture.
  • Exposure to Google and Azure infrastructure, MS SQL server, MySQL performance tuning, and NoSQL design.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript (React), Node Web framework, and Java or.Net.
