Lead Educator Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to fill our Lead Educator position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional educational outcomes for children in our care.

About the Role:
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to staff members, including supervision, training, and development.
  • Develop and implement educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Foster positive relationships with families and the local community.
  • Manage centre operations, including financial activities, human resources, and facilities management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • School Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring efficient management of resources and effective use of time.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide guidance, support, and constructive feedback to staff members, promoting their growth and development.
  • Educational Programs: Develop and implement engaging and relevant educational programs, aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the school meets all regulatory requirements, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Fundraising: Participate in fundraising initiatives, working collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider community to secure resources and opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with families and the community.
  • Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Sound financial management skills and experience in budget planning and control.
