Busy Bees at Geelong West is a vibrant 137-place service offering beautifully designed learning spaces and large outdoor areas to spark imagination and curiosity. Located on Church Street, our centre is known for its welcoming environment and strong community partnerships.

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to lead a classroom where children, families, and educators thrive together.

About the Role
As a Lead Educator, you will:

• Lead and guide your room's educators to deliver high-quality programs aligned with the EYLF
• Create engaging, inclusive, and age-appropriate learning environments
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families
• Model and support best practices in documentation, curriculum planning, and child safety
• Foster collaboration, inclusion, and positive team dynamics
• Support compliance and quality improvement processes

What You'll Need

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
• At least 2 years of experience as a Room Leader or Lead Educator
• Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and child development principles
• Current Working with Children Check (Employee) – VIC
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (HLTAID012 or equivalent)
• Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting certificate
• Australian work rights (Citizen, PR, or appropriate visa)
