The role of Senior Vice President, Investigations Diligence and Compliance involves participation in field investigation activities and interviews, incorporating the use of digital forensic tools and data analysis techniques.

This position offers exposure to a diverse range of projects, including investigative due diligence, asset tracing and AML Advisory services.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with senior professionals to conduct forensic investigations into allegations of fraud, bribery, corruption and workplace misconduct. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a senior local subject matter expert in matters relating to AML/CTF and financial crime
  • Conducting research to identify and obtain information from primary & secondary sources, including databases, internet and other public domain sources.
  • Providing expert analysis of financial crime business processes against regulatory obligations and developing reports and other materials for clients
  • Developing and independently managing AML/CTF and financial crime related projects for clients
  • Assisting in the pursuit of new business and supporting the delivery of proposals by senior members of the team
  • Preparing high-quality written and oral reports.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant work experience in AML/CTF
  • Qualifications in AML/CTF business, law or other relevant disciplines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Residence in Sydney preferred, but other Australian cities are considered
  • Strong team, project and client management experience, along with strong interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable, with the ability to work flexibly over multiple projects with limited direction
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Native-level English alongside superior writing skills; demonstrable experience in writing effective reports and/or articles is preferred.
