Lab Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled Lab Technician to work on the Snowy 2.0 project.

The role involves conducting laboratory tests on construction materials, ensuring they meet specified standards and contribute to the overall success and safety of the project.

  • A strong background in laboratory technology or a related field is essential.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a laboratory role within the construction industry, preferably in tunnelling projects, is required.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting tests on construction materials such as soil, concrete, shotcrete and rock, in accordance with project specifications and standards.
  • Implementing quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Operating and maintaining laboratory testing equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
