As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in the Snowy 2.0 project.

Purpose of the Role:

This is a laboratory position that involves conducting tests on construction materials to ensure they meet specified standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct laboratory tests on various construction materials, including soil, concrete, shotcrete, and rock.
  • Implement quality control measures to guarantee accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Record and report test results accurately, maintaining comprehensive documentation of laboratory activities.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to and promoting laboratory safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • An associate degree or equivalent certification in Laboratory Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in a laboratory or construction materials testing role is essential.
  • Familiarity with relevant laboratory equipment and testing methods is necessary.
  • A Class Driver's Licence and White Card are also required.
