About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned privacy expert to drive our organisation's privacy program and ensure our strategy aligns with compliance requirements. You'll play a critical role in ensuring compliance with privacy legislation across Australia and New Zealand, including the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and Privacy Act 2020.

As a senior privacy leader, you'll bring deep expertise in privacy risks and regulatory requirements, with a proven ability to elevate privacy standards across complex organisations. Your extensive knowledge enables you to drive best practices in privacy and compliance, positively impacting privacy maturity across the board.

Your exceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills allow you to consult, guide, and influence colleagues and leaders at all levels, ensuring a consistent approach to privacy compliance and risk minimisation. Experience in Healthcare or related industries is essential. You will be hands on and skilled at fostering a high-performing culture and driving efficiency through effective guidance and team growth.

What We're Looking For
  • Extensive experience in privacy and data protection roles, preferably in a leadership capacity.
  • Strategic thinking with a proactive approach to privacy risks.
  • Hands on leadership that inspires collaboration across departments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/A) or Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) are highly desirable.
