About the Role

We are seeking motivated professionals to join our team in Perth metro area. As a Painter / Specialist Applicator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing work areas and surfaces for painting and coatings applications.
  • Assisting in the installation and application of specialised coatings, protective finishes, and remediation products.
  • Applying and finishing paint, coatings, acoustic, and insulating materials to meet project specifications and industry standards.
  • Maintaining painting equipment, including spray guns, rollers, and brushes, ensuring proper care and storage.
  • Cleaning and maintaining work areas, tools, and equipment to a high standard.
  • Following proper safety procedures and industry best practices to ensure high-quality applications.
  • Contributing to meetings and discussions to ensure safety and efficiency in daily operations.
  • Identifying, reporting, and rectifying potential hazards to ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role, preferably in painting, protective coatings, or specialist applications within the construction or industrial sector.
  • Ability to work with spray guns, rollers, and brushes to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Experience with protective coatings & concrete repair is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of different painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and application of protective coatings.
  • Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Understanding of workplace health & safety regulations related to painting and coatings.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and deliver projects on time.
  • A positive attitude, reliability, punctuality, and commitment to safety and quality.
