This role is ideal for recent graduates with a degree in Paramedicine or those looking to advance their career in healthcare. You will work across various rosters, including night shifts and weekends, and have the potential to be mentored in regional areas.

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $70,000-$100,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.

You will be responsible for providing clinical care for patients transported between private and public hospitals, medical centres, community facilities, and private residences. This will include:

  • Clinical duties such as cardiac monitoring, monitoring of intravenous infusions, administration of medications, airway management, and updating patient records.
  • Mentorship opportunities across interhospital transports, on-road emergency ambulance observation shifts, or regional mentoring and responding to low-acuity community patients.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Completed a degree in Paramedicine from an AHPRA-approved course provider or recognised international education provider (or be in your 3rd year of the paramedicine degree).
  • Professional registration with the Paramedicine Board of Australia with no restrictions.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  • A full driver's license with no restrictions and no more than 6 demerit points.
  • Willingness to obtain a Light Rigid Licence (LR) within the first 3 months of employment.
