Maitland City Council has an exciting opportunity within our Waste Services team for a skilled and reliable waste collection operator looking to expand their experience across a broader range of waste collection services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate side loading waste collection vehicles
  • Assist across other Waste Services areas as required (bulky waste collection, relief collection)
  • Contribute to safe operation and adherence to waste collection procedures

Requirements:

  • Hold a current HR licence with demonstrated experience operating side loading waste collection vehicles
  • Be a productive and reliable team member with a strong safety mindset good interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering quality service to the community
  • Be flexible and capable of supporting a variety of waste operations as needed
