This position presents a chance to make a meaningful impact in the realm of health and safety. As a trusted partner, you will collaborate with leaders and workers to foster a culture of risk awareness and facilitate informed decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert guidance on risk-focused health and safety strategies and collaborating with stakeholders to develop effective control measures.
- Building strong relationships to become a trusted advisor, guiding leaders and workers on health and safety aligned with strategic objectives.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive risk management plans and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
- Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of safety initiatives through regular audits, inspections, and process reviews, and communicating findings to key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing conditions while driving positive health and safety outcomes.
Regular travel throughout regional western Queensland is required for this role.
