Role Overview

This opportunity has arisen due to the ER Manager transitioning into a global secondment, offering an experienced ER professional a chance to take on a high-profile role with comprehensive handover.

The Position

You will lead and oversee a team of ER Advisors in a highly regarded and collaborative function, playing a critical role in shaping employee relations outcomes in a complex global environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing People & Culture team that is well-respected and commercially influential, supporting the business in delivering exceptional employee experiences that drive performance.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of ER Advisors, ensuring quality delivery and professional growth;
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on complex ER matters, balancing risk, compliance, and commercial outcomes;
  • Oversee investigations, grievances, and disciplinary processes, ensuring sensitivity, discretion, and best practice;
  • Partner with Work Health & Safety to address employee health and wellbeing matters; and
  • Contribute to ER process improvements and broader People & Culture initiatives that enhance organisational maturity.
About You

An experienced ER leader with tertiary qualifications in HR, ER, or Employment Law, combining deep knowledge of State and Federal legislation with proven experience advising senior stakeholders on high-risk matters.

Demonstrated success in managing and developing ER teams, strong commercial acumen to balance business outcomes with employee wellbeing, and the resilience and empathy to deliver under pressure.

Key Requirements

This role requires:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, ER, or Employment Law;
  • Deep knowledge of State and Federal legislation;
  • Proven experience advising senior stakeholders on high-risk matters;
  • Success in managing and developing ER teams;
  • Strong commercial acumen to balance business outcomes with employee wellbeing;
  • Resilience and empathy to deliver under pressure.
