Job Summary

You will be responsible for developing and implementing regional data governance strategies, ensuring alignment with global policies and procedures. You will also act as CSL's primary data governance advisor, providing expertise and guidance to stakeholders across the region.



Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement regional data governance strategies, ensuring alignment with global policies and procedures.
  2. Act as CSL's primary data governance advisor, providing expertise and guidance to stakeholders across the region.
  3. Monitor changes to data governance laws and regulations, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement in collaboration with internal teams.
  4. Lead initiatives to foster data governance awareness and education among senior leaders and business units.
  5. Collaborate with the business to complete risk assessments and advise on mitigation activities.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Certification in data governance, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification.
  • Strong knowledge of interpreting and applying global data governance laws and regulations.
  • Experience working with regulators and regulatory agencies is preferred.
  • Japanese and/or Chinese language skills are desirable but not essential.
