About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Domestic Services Assistant to join our team at Peninsula Villages. As a key member of our Domestic Services Department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' living spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties, including residents' rooms, laundries, common areas, and consulting rooms.
  • Assist in our commercial laundry, undertaking tasks such as loading and emptying washing machines and dryers, sorting and folding linen, and labelling clothing.
  • Remove rubbish and restock cleaners' cupboards.
  • Clean kitchenettes.

About You:

  • You have the ability to work autonomously and possess a great eye for detail.
  • You are willing to engage and align practice with our Peninsula Villages ICCARE Values.
  • You are passionate about making a difference to the lives of older people.
  • You have previous experience in a similar role.
  • You understand the role that Infection control plays to maintain health and safety.
