About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainable Infrastructure Decommissioning Specialist to join our team at the Department of Industry, Science and Resources.

As a key member of our Northern Endeavour Branch, you will play a crucial role in the decommissioning of a 274m long floating production storage and offtake (FPSO) facility, permanently moored between the Laminaria and Corallina oil fields in the Timor Sea.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop various project/program artefacts, reports, and executive briefs.
  • Provide project delivery support and advice.
  • Contribute to regulatory and compliance activities, including preparing applications for regulatory approvals.
  • Support external stakeholder engagement and communication activities.
  • Manage projects with limited supervision, including performing secretariat functions for governance bodies.
Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship.
  • Baseline security clearance.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and manage changing priorities.
