Senior Construction Professional Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Professional to lead the delivery of project activities, including utility interfacing, budgets, schedules, procurement strategies and ECI interface, for our client's data centre expansion projects in Victoria.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or similar field, and at least 4 years of experience in a CA, services or project management role. Data Centre experience is preferred but pharma/bio sciences also viewed favourably.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall delivery of construction and Capital expenditure works, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and implementing a robust QA/QC program to guarantee the project meets all data center industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of project activities, including utility interfacing, budgets, schedules, procurement strategies and ECI interface.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive project scope document (PSD) and a detailed project schedule, proactively identifying and mitigating risks that could impact timelines.
  • Oversee all construction and fitout contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Implement a robust QA/QC program to guarantee the project meets all data center industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or similar field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a CA, services or project management role required.
  • Data Centre experience is preferred but pharma/bio sciences also viewed favourably.
  • Experience in Construction and/or mechanical/electrical/services management is a requirement.
  • Proactive, collaborative and team attitude and approach to work.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
