**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team at RDO Equipment Australia as a Field Service Technician. Based in Katherine, this role will see you working on world-class John Deere & Construction equipment, supported by our Darwin branch.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Performing basic and complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on heavy machinery
  • Working on tractors, combine harvesters, sprayers, graders, skid steers, excavators, and backhoes

**Requirements**

  • Mechanical Trade Certificate
  • Previous experience of engine overhauls and major repairs, including electrical, hydraulic, and diagnostic skills
  • Current and valid driver's license
  • Mature attitude and logical and methodical approach to work, enabling you to work through problems in both workshop and field environments
  • Possession of high-risk work tickets and/or licenses would be highly regarded
