Drug and Alcohol Therapist Role

The successful candidate will provide expert drug and alcohol services to clients, including assessment, case management, referral services, and therapeutic interventions.

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Drug and Alcohol Therapist to join our team on a full-time/part-time contract basis. The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in counselling, social welfare, education, or related disciplines.

  • Deliver high-quality drug and alcohol services
  • Provide individualised drug and alcohol-related counselling
  • Facilitate SMART recovery group sessions
  • Support the site in provision of D&A services
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Proven clinical experience
  • Accreditation as a SMART Recovery facilitator
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate
  • Valid working rights in Australia
