The role of Administrative Liaison to the CEO involves providing proactive and trusted support to the CEO, Chair, Company Secretary and other members of the executive team from time to time. Key responsibilities include:

  • Representing the CEO and other executives in a professional and approachable manner
  • Managing the CEO's diary, including planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences and travel
  • Answering or directing enquiries for the CEO
  • Highlighting and identifying key priorities
  • Reading, researching and routing correspondence; drafting letters, emails and documents
  • Maintaining the annual company calendar, and coordination of meeting schedules
  • Assisting in the preparation, collation and distribution of Board papers
  • Coordination of Board and Committee meetings
  • Minute taking / Action items (Board minutes, supporting leadership team meetings)

This is a full-time permanent position based in central Brisbane within easy walking distance from Central Station at BHC's modern offices at 333 Ann Street. While the role is office-based five days a week, ad-hoc flexibility is available as may be needed from time to time.

About You

We are looking for someone with significant experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a CEO, Board and C Suite (circa 5+ years), who possesses excellent communication and organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail, tact, discretion and impartiality where circumstances require, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet while remaining composed, advanced written and verbal communication skills, high levels of computer literacy and technically minded with the ability to rapidly acquire new knowledge and skills, commercially minded with the ability to provide valuable insight and proactive support, strong personal resilience and a sense of humour, and the desire to actively contribute to a collaborative, high-performing and inclusive team culture.
