We're looking for a skilled steward to support our chefs in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining high standards and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchens.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks, and cooking equipment
  • Maintaining food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators
  • Receiving and organizing deliveries to the kitchen
  • Supporting chefs and other kitchen staff in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling, and washing
  • Removing kitchen waste and washing dirty dishes

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

A passion for delivering great service and a positive attitude towards creating outstanding guest experiences

Previous experience in a hotel environment is beneficial, but not essential

You'll work as part of a team and meet deadlines, so attention to safe manual handling is crucial, including occasional lifting/push/pull of heavy items and bending/kneeling to complete tasks

A high standard of cleanliness and safety at work is mandatory, along with flexibility to work across a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays

Compliance with all relevant regulations and laws is also essential, including holding a Food Safety Certificate and meeting the legal requirements to work in Australia without limitations or restrictions
