About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to provide essential support for our Physiotherapy services. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience and enhance their skills in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in implementing tailored treatment programs for clients and their caregivers.
  • Set up and maintain therapy equipment.
  • Adhere to delegated authority guidelines in all tasks.
  • Ensure a respectful and welcoming environment for patients, clients, visitors, and staff.
  • Safely manage and maintain equipment, including conducting inspections and arranging repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding any concerns related to patients or their families.
Selection Criteria
  • Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or currently studying a Physiotherapy degree with at least 2 years completed. Students currently in their second year are welcome to apply.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, with the capability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve client goals.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
