Senior Physiotherapist – Lymphoedema and Physiotherapy Programs
Part-time Fixed-term Opportunity

Grampians Health Ballarat has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to work within the Lymphoedema and Physiotherapy Oncology programs. The Grampians Health Services Lymphoedema program provides assessment and management of primary and secondary lymphoedema and related comorbidities within the oncology, community health and Grampians At Home services. The Physiotherapy Oncology program manages musculoskeletal conditions related to Oncology treatment.

You will be flexible and able to thrive in a busy, dynamic working environment. Other key attributes required are great communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, patients and their families/carers.

You will enjoy a very friendly, team-oriented place to work, where there is a strong commitment to providing high-quality evidence-based care. There is excellent support from senior Physiotherapy colleagues with advanced expertise in all clinical areas. Professional development is supported through regular in-service education, professional support from colleagues and the provision of support to attend continuing education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in Physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management options for clients with a range of musculoskeletal and oncology conditions.
  • Knowledge of assessment and implications of lymphoedema secondary to oncology management desirable but not essential.
  • Evidence of a commitment to ongoing learning in relevant fields.
  • Post Graduate training in the area of Lymphoedema assessment and management is highly desirable.
