About This Role

We are seeking a senior liquidity manager and portfolio assistant to provide strategic support to the treasurer in managing the balance sheet.

Main Responsibilities

  • Managing cash flows and funding requirements of multiple branches, including day-to-day management of currency positions and liquid assets.
  • Providing research, portfolio optimization and trade execution support for the branch's investment portfolio.
  • Collaborating with credit analysts to ensure credit quality and adherence to risk management policies.
  • Monitoring and analyzing market trends in the context of global market conditions and communicating relevant information to senior portfolio managers and management.
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.

Additional Duties

  • Supporting liquidity and funding needs of other branches as required.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, external banking partners and other key stakeholders to facilitate business activities.
  • Participating in projects related to treasury initiatives.
  • Providing cover for the treasurer as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or economics.
  • Four years' experience in banking and financial services, preferably in a trading environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across different levels of the organization.
