Job Title:

Fleet Operations Manager

This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of a vehicle fleet.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all aspects of fleet management, including acquisition, utilization, maintenance, replacement planning, and compliance.

    • Develop and administer fleet policy in support of operational continuity, sustainability, and optimising total operating cost outcomes.

    • Work closely with logistics, finance, regional directors, and external providers to deliver cost-effective and compliant outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Essential Qualifications:

    • Relevant tertiary qualifications or a combination of qualifications and substantial experience in fleet management and operations.

    • Strong experience in fleet operations and management, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, disposal, and overall portfolio oversight.

  • Desirable Skills:

    • Proficient in corporate financial and administrative systems.

    • Strong knowledge of the motor vehicle, fleet, and freight transport industries.
