Support Services Coordinator for Youth Mental Health

We are a not-for-profit, primary health care organisation providing locally-tailored, high quality physical and mental health services across NSW and the ACT.
As an Administration Officer with our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the headspace Canberra team, helping to create a welcoming environment for young people and ensuring smooth operations to enhance our services.
Your day-to-day tasks will include thoughtfully utilising electronic medical records to support client journeys, warmly answering phone inquiries, and assisting with various administrative tasks as needed to ensure a welcoming and seamless experience.
You will report to the Centre Coordinator, who reports to the Service Manager. This is a full-time, fixed term opportunity currently available until 30 June 2026, with the potential for extension based on continued funding.
Full time employees have the option to enjoy a Rostered Day Off each month.
We are looking for someone with:
- Relevant training and experience in administration in a fast-paced environment
- Sound knowledge of Windows and MS Office applications and ability to learn new IT systems and clinical systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills including being approachable, polite, friendly and helpful
- Demonstrated ability to effectively organise and plan workload to ensure that deadlines are met
