Job Title: Bid Manager / Tender Coordinator

Our client, a reputable Head Contractor, is seeking an experienced Bid Manager/Tender Coordinator to join their team in Perth. As a key member of the business development team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the bidding process, from initial tender submission to contract award.

\

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in bid management, with excellent communication and project coordination skills. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement bids that meet the company's strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing bid strategies\
  • Managing the bid documentation process, including content creation and formatting\
  • Coordinating bid submissions and presentations\
  • Analyzing bid results and providing insights for future improvement\
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors\
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in bid management\
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge\
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to achieve business objectives\
  • Contributing to the development of business growth strategies\
  • Assisting in the preparation of marketing materials and proposals\
  • Performing other duties as required by the business needs\
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports\
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders\
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures\
  • Actively participating in performance reviews and goal setting\
  • Upholding the company's values and code of conduct at all times\\

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bid management or a related field\
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry and its dynamics\
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills\
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines\
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\
  • High level of professionalism and integrity\
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders\
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment\
  • Willingsness to undergo ongoing professional development\
  • Reliable and punctual attendance\
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office\
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) an advantage\
  • Experience with CRM software preferred\
  • Certifications or qualifications in relevant areas (e.g., Prince2, PMP)\\
