About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team at Qantas. The successful candidate will be a key member of our cloud engineering team, responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining secure and efficient cloud-based systems and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering, with experience working in a SecOps capacity applying best practices to reduce security vulnerabilities across a broad range of technologies. They will also have hands-on experience using Docker and Kubernetes, logging & event management tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics & DataDog, and experience with CI/CD methodologies, processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain secure and efficient cloud-based systems and infrastructure
  • Develop and implement automated testing and deployment processes using DevOps methodologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative cloud-based solutions
  • Contribute to the development of cloud security best practices and enterprise architecture assessment of emerging technology, frameworks, products, and tools
