Job Description:
We are seeking a creative, reliable, and results-driven 3D Max Modeller to join our team to create a variety of 3D environmental assets for projects. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality 3D outputs on time and within budget.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking production tasks as directed and delivering quality 3D outputs on time and within budget.
- Providing reliable time estimates for assigned tasks.
- Monitoring progress against agreed timelines and providing estimates of remaining work.
- Identifying and escalating risks to the delivery of assigned work.
- Providing input to technical design as required.
- Participating in quality reviews as required.
- Identifying opportunities to develop tools and reuse work from other projects to maximise productivity and efficiency.
- Ensuring adherence to agreed quality processes and standards.
- Ensuring accurate recording of time spent on assigned work.
- Participating in the continuous improvement of the production process.
- Staying abreast of industry trends and developments.
- Seeking, using, and promoting best practice methods and tools to improve productivity and quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant qualification in Multimedia / Digital Art.
- Minimum 2 years applicable industry experience using 3DS Max and Photoshop.
- Proven experience developing for real-time 3D engines (Low Poly Game design, Game modifications, Visualisation real-time rendering).
- Working knowledge of CAD, Civil Design and Architectural software packages.
- Knowledge of current best practice 3D modelling tools and methods.
- Strong time management, prioritisation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships, and work collaboratively.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexibility in different situations and ability to adapt to change.
- High level of personal drive and self-motivation.
- Artistically minded and technically capable of applying new technologies and concepts.
