About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Consultant to join our team at Healthcare Staffing.

As a Senior Clinical Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, person-centered services to clients with diverse care needs. You will be responsible for gathering information using standardized assessments, interviews, observations, and play-based approaches, as well as conducting assessments collaboratively with individuals, families, and key stakeholders.

You will develop realistic, functional, and person-centered goals with individuals and key stakeholders in line with assessment findings and priorities. Your duties will also include developing treatment and therapy plans to suit the individual needs of children, young people, and adults with a wide range of presentations, monitoring and evaluating progress and outcomes, and amending plans accordingly.

You will liaise, educate, support, and mentor parents and families, educators, staff, and other professionals involved in an individual's care. Additionally, you will provide training in key areas such as communication, speech and language, mealtime management, Augmentative and Alternative Communication strategies and devices, meaningful engagement, etc.

If you have a degree in Speech Pathology, certified practicing membership with Speech Pathology Australia, and a minimum of 3+ years relevant experience, we encourage you to apply.

Salary Details

The salary for this position ranges from A$80,000 to A$90,000 annually, depending on experience. This competitive package includes visa sponsorship for overseas qualified candidates, continuous professional development opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits program.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Speech Pathology;
  • Certified practicing membership with Speech Pathology Australia;
  • A minimum of 3+ years relevant experience;
  • Experience or interest in working with people with intellectual disabilities and/or experiences of trauma who have complex needs;
  • Experience or interest in conducting Communication assessments, treatment planning, and intervention for children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of presentations; and Mealtime Management.
