About the Opportunity
Bond University's Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine is seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic leader to join our team as a Senior Academic Leader - First Nations Health. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of a faculty-wide program in First Nations Health, working closely with the Professor of First Nations Health and the broader team.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the strategic development and implementation of the First Nations Health program, including curriculum design, assessment, and placement partnerships.
- Teach medical and allied health students, and contribute significantly to research in the area of First Nations Health.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with First Nations Communities, First Nations organisations, and relevant healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with local health services to develop clinical placements and research opportunities.
About the Person
To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified health professional with a PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline. You will have a strong research portfolio and significant teaching experience in medicine and/or allied health. It is essential that you have the ability to successfully engage and collaborate with First Nations Communities, First Nations organisations, and with relevant healthcare professionals.
