The successful applicant will hold a PhD in a cognate field, be an excellent teacher, and have extensive relevant industry and research/scholarship experience. An appointment at the Associate Professor B level will require evidence of substantial and sustained research outputs, significant industry recognition, and success in attracting external funding to support an identified research program.
Bond University prides itself on the level of support it provides to its students and its contemporary approach to learning and teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate extensive experience of modern approaches to active, engaged, and authentic teaching and assessment. An appointment at an Associate Professor B level will require evidence of making a significant original and innovative contribution to learning and teaching.
The successful applicant will be responsible for contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research, and service in the Faculty and University. They will also engage in professional and industry liaison, seek grant opportunities, and provide student support within the Faculty.
Salary Details
The salary for this position is outlined below and will be negotiated commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience. Salary packaging options are available. The level of appointment will be determined by the Selection Panel.
Associate Professor B remuneration commences at $162,466.69 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation.
Assistant Professor A remuneration commences at $154,787.26 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation.
Assistant Professor B remuneration commences at $130,234.21 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation.
