The Faculty Coordinator for English plays a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum and culture of the English faculty.
Reporting directly to the Head of Secondary School, you will provide strategic and instructional leadership, ensuring the faithful implementation of the Calderwood Curriculum Framework.
- Teaching and learning are at the heart of your responsibilities, as you foster strong relationships with valued teachers and engage students in dynamic learning experiences.
- Staff development is another key area of focus, as you empower educators to grow professionally and personally.
- Curriculum oversight and resource management are also critical aspects of this role, requiring a high degree of organizational and communication skills.
We seek an enthusiastic, dedicated educator with a passion for teaching and a strong Christian faith.
- Relevant Secondary Teaching qualifications and accreditation in NSW with NESA are essential.
- A valid Working with Children Check is also required.
- A proven track record in leadership, staff mentoring, and curriculum development is highly desirable.
- A commitment to English education and the ability to inspire students and staff alike is crucial.
This full-time, ongoing position offers a competitive salary in accordance with the Christian Schools NSW (Teachers) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2023.
The Position of Responsibility allowance (POR Level 1) recognizes your leadership within the school.
