Job Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled trade professional to join our production team as a Maintenance Fitter.

This hands-on role involves working on cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance & Repairs: Install, service, and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems with a focus on beverage production lines.
  • Machinery Operation: Handle high-speed packaging gear, perform overhauls, shutdowns, and changeovers to minimize downtime and boost efficiency.
  • Hands-On Skills: Utilize hand and power tools, precision instruments, and welding equipment for machinery fabrication and maintenance.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to strict safety protocols, HACCP guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) promoting a strong safety-first culture.
  • Teamwork & Communication: Collaborate closely with other fitters and technicians to resolve faults and ensure smooth shift handovers.
  • Systems Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on key production and utility systems to support safe and efficient operations.

What We Require:

  • Completed Mechanical/Fitter Machinist Apprenticeship and relevant Australian-recognised trade qualifications or Craft Certificate.
  • Skilled in pneumatics, hydraulics, tape measurement, and blueprint reading.
  • Experienced in welding (Stick, Tig, Gas) and heavy equipment manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with high-speed packaging machinery and rotary labelling machines preferred.
