Electrical Inspector Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Inspector to conduct inspections on solar and battery installations, ensuring they meet the highest safety and regulatory standards.

Using an iPad as a core tool, you'll record inspection data, upload photos, and complete reports instantly while on site, facilitating fast and accurate compliance management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating serious electrical events, including shocks, fires, and non-compliance, contributing to safer energy delivery in the region.

This is a regionally based role with occasional weekly or short inland trips.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting inspections of solar and battery installations to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Recording inspection data, uploading photos, and completing reports using an iPad
  • Investigating serious electrical events, including shocks, fires, and non-compliance
  • Contributing to safer energy delivery in the region through effective compliance management

Requirements:

  • WA Electrical Worker's Licence – essential for Inspector designation
  • Eligibility to be designated as an Electrical Inspector (Electrical)
  • Strong understanding of Australian Standards, Regulations and testing and checking
  • Experience or willingness to gain specialist skills in solar and battery inspection, testing, and verification
  • Strong iPad and mobile reporting skills
  • Proven commitment to safety and compliance
