Job Description

As a Correctional Services Professional, you will play a vital role in enhancing public safety and promoting rehabilitation through evidence-based practices.

  • Manage cases for individuals serving community-based orders, including Parole Orders, Intensive Corrections Orders, and Community Corrections Orders.
  • Collaborate with individuals under supervision to develop and implement rehabilitative strategies, monitor progress toward established goals, and conduct home visits to ensure compliance with conditions.
  • Work with offenders in custody to prepare them for reintegration upon release on parole.

This role requires exceptional communication skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate integrity in all interactions. You will also need to be able to work from an office to interact face-to-face with people under supervision, thrive in a challenging environment while applying cultural sensitivity and awareness, and develop and implement effective strategies while demonstrating decisiveness in managing emotionally charged situations and addressing complex or controversial issues.
