Job Description:

A federal government client seeks a senior engineer with expertise in Angular and Nginx to support a major migration project.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with infrastructure setup, deployment, and maintenance, as well as automation using Python scripting and GitLab.

Security Clearance: Must hold or be eligible for NV1 (Negative Vetting Level 1)

Contract: 12 months + up to 24 months extension

  • Design, configure, and optimise Angular/Nginx infrastructure
  • Deploy and support Angular apps running on Nginx/Node.js
  • Use Python scripting and GitLab to automate workflows
  • Work closely with internal teams to document processes and train staff
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and implement tuning solutions
  • Ensure all deployments meet security and compliance standards expected of enterprise-level federal environments

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The following skills and qualifications are required:

  • 10+ years in Governance, Risk & Compliance | ICT Assurance | Cyber Reviews | Essential Eight Implementation
  • Angular 18
  • Node.js v20
  • Python
  • Ansible
  • Experience in installing, configuring, customising and maintaining Nginx server applications
  • Migration of Angular applications from Nginx servers to other platforms
