About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Housekeeping Director to join our team at Pullman. As a key member of our hotel management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest comfort across all guestrooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and inspire a high-performing housekeeping team to maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Operational Excellence: Set and achieve productivity targets in collaboration with the General Manager, while driving cost savings and operational efficiency within the department.
  • Staff Development: Recruit, train, and mentor housekeeping staff to build a motivated, skilled, and high-performing team that consistently delivers excellent results.
  • Rostering and Scheduling: Manage rostering to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained, and oversee the accurate completion of timesheets to support smooth operations.
  • Guest Feedback: Address guest complaints promptly and professionally, and ensure feedback is shared with the Front Office Manager to drive continuous improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of supplies, linens, and guest amenities to ensure seamless delivery of services.
About You

To be successful as our Housekeeping Director, you will require:

  • Hotel Industry Experience: 3+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry, with a strong focus on operational excellence and team development.
  • Skillset: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Opera Cloud; skilled in coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams; and able to manage rosters, control costs, and meet budget and performance targets.
  • Culture Fit: Culturally aware, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams, and flexible and available for a rotating roster, including weekends and holidays.
