The successful candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry and experience in managing multidisciplinary patient care teams. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of appropriate patient care and providing professional leadership to the department.
As a Medical Director, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the development of our mental health services. You will be based in a metropolitan region on the south east coast of QLD, with access to a range of amenities and opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical specialist psychiatry support to the Mental Health and Specialist Service
- Managing a multidisciplinary patient care team
- Ensuring the delivery of appropriate patient care
- Providing professional leadership to the department
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent registrable with the Medical Board of Australia
- FRANZCP or equivalent acceptable to the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists
- Registrable as a Psychiatry specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
