Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Environment and Planning team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental risks and ensure compliance with regulations;
  • Pollution control, licensing, and enforcement;
  • Renewable energy projects, including wind and solar farms;
  • Waste management, including licensing, levies, and compliance issues;
  • Native vegetation and natural resource management;
  • Contaminated land remediation;
  • Strategic planning and development advice;
  • Environmental impact assessments;
  • Planning agreements and heritage law;
  • Litigation in the Land and Environment Court;
  • Due diligence for planning and environmental matters;
  • Climate change law and policy;
  • Sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

  • A qualified lawyer with 5+ years of experience in environment and planning law;
  • Ability to work in an advisory, transactional, and litigation role.
