Position Overview:
We are in search of a proficient and seasoned Service Operations Lead who will oversee the continuous operational management, maintenance, quality assurance, and security of Vendor OSS, Probes, and Emergency Warning systems. A significant responsibility of this position is to ensure that the Managed Services Provider (MSP) fulfills all service obligations as stipulated in the contract, adhering to the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) necessary for maintaining the uptime and resilience of the OSS Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and govern activities executed by Managed Services Partners (MSP), ensuring the delivery of value and high-quality results.
- Provide 24x7 platform management once an OSS Engineering team operationalizes a platform.
- Accountable for Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 support, including configuration and minor code adjustments for troubleshooting, while coordinating with engineering or vendor support for significant issues.
- Ensure compliance with all InfoSec and Cybersecurity policies regarding OSS, managing deviations and collaborating with the OSS Engineering Manager for major upgrades or remediation.
- Govern supplier activities related to OSS Services.
- Oversee a Quality Assurance or Testing function to guarantee that projects meet the required quality standards before transitioning to Operations. This includes managing an industry-standard test automation framework, such as UI Path, for test automation and maintaining a suite of test cases for critical platforms to facilitate regression testing and ongoing production monitoring.
- Manage and take ownership of the infrastructure for Vendor OSS, Probes, and Warning systems, including auditing rack and power management.
- Ensure continuous monitoring of OSS applications and infrastructure 24x7 through effective platform management of OSS APM.
