As a Distance Education Teacher, you will provide high-quality learning experiences for students who learn from home. You will work collaboratively with the Distance Education Team to plan and deliver effective teaching programs, contribute to curriculum development, and support student wellbeing.

  • Have an active Christian faith and be able to demonstrate its impact on your practice as a teacher.
  • Hold a suitable qualification and accreditation with NESA (or be eligible).
  • Be able to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes through data analysis and targeted interventions.
  • Display excellent teaching skills, as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
  • Be willing to receive feedback and implement changes to your practice.
  • Work with a dedicated Christian team and contribute to a faith community that values collaboration and mutual support.
  • Grow in your faith, skills, and experience, with opportunities for professional development and mentoring.
