About the Clinical Lead Role
The successful candidate will support and guide a multidisciplinary team delivering accessible mental health support to young people. This role combines team leadership, clinical supervision, and service development to ensure high-quality, person-centred care.
- Lead and mentor an existing team of Mental Health Practitioners, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes excellence in care delivery.
- Provide expert clinical guidance on the management of complex and high needs clients within agreed service areas and in line with expertise and qualifications, ensuring seamless integration with other healthcare professionals.
- Offer comprehensive clinical supervision in both individual and group settings, empowering staff to navigate challenging situations effectively.
- Contribute to ongoing service development, driving innovation and improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes.
- Nurture and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community partners and external agencies, to promote cohesive care pathways.
About You
To be a successful candidate for this role, you will need:
- A tertiary degree qualification relevant to the field, such as psychology, counselling, or social work.
- Registration with a relevant professional body, demonstrating your commitment to maintaining high standards of practice.
- Extensive experience working with clients experiencing trauma in an FDSV setting, with a proven ability to deliver effective interventions.
- Experience supervising multi-disciplinary teams in clinical settings, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
- Previous experience supporting culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) clients, with a sensitivity to their unique needs and challenges.
- A current NSW Driver's Licence and Working With Children Check (WWCC).
