Job Title: Family Business and Taxation Expert

The role of the Family Business and Taxation Expert is to deliver taxation, financial, and business advisory services. You will work closely with Partners and Directors to prepare and be integral to complex accounting and taxation engagements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and be integral to complex accounting and taxation engagements.
  • Be a regular point of contact for clients, ensuring consistency in exceptional client service.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to an expanding team of accounting professionals.
Key Requirements:
  • Degree-qualified and having completed CA/CPA qualification.
  • Relevant expertise as an expert in a business advisory environment.
  • Ability to understand client needs and exhibit a high level of client service.
  • Advanced accounting technical knowledge, including application of accounting standards and compiling consolidated financial statements.
  • Ability to effectively manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
  • Advanced knowledge in areas of taxation.
  • Exposure to taxation consolidation is an advantage.
  • Ability to use, navigate and troubleshoot common client accounting software packages.
  • Well-refined oral and written communication skills.
  • Comprehensive Microsoft Excel skills and ability to efficiently work with large datasets.
  • Adaptable to engage a wide range of growing clients.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and time management.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities.
