Childcare Centre Director

Our Early Learning Centre in Oak Park VIC is seeking an experienced Centre Manager/Nominated Supervisor to lead the team and friendly community.
Key Responsibilities:- Marketing and promoting the centre's services
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the centre, in line with centre policies and procedures
- Providing leadership and guidance to all educators
- Managing all operational requirements of the service, including occupancy, wage management, rostering and budgeting costs
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all stakeholders (children, educators, families, community and Approved Provider)
- Commitment to ongoing learning and self-development
- Recruiting, inducting, supporting and mentoring new educators
- Previous experience as a Nominated Supervisor
- Diploma in Children Services or a degree in early childhood
- Current Working with Children Check, child protection and first aid
- Ability to be organised and to multi-task
- Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and Rating and Assessment process
- Strong understanding of the child safe standards
- Strong communication, leadership and management skills
- Passion for achieving the best quality of education and care with educators and the community for children and families
- Knowledge of CCS, ACCS, Qikkids and Educa (preferred not essential)
- Excellent written, computer and communication skills
- Bright, friendly and energetic
