Job Title: Sustainability Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to support our organization's sustainability initiatives. This role will be responsible for managing key sustainability programs, providing strategic advice to business units, and delivering external ESG disclosures.

  • Develop and implement group-wide sustainability strategies, aligning with business unit goals and objectives;
  • Manage and ensure accurate and timely delivery of external disclosures aligned to recognized frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD);
  • Collaborate with business unit teams to evolve and implement the group sustainability strategy, supporting the execution of action plans aligned with sustainability goals;
  • Measure AMP's carbon footprint across scope 1,2 and 3 emissions (including Bank financed emissions) and set targets and plans for emission reductions;
  • Foster meaningful relationships with First Nations partners and project manage the implementation of RAP commitments through RAP Steering committee and working groups.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years technical and functional experience relating to corporate sustainability, corporate responsibility, social impact, ESG and/or creating shared value;
  • Experience with coordinating the implementation of Reconciliation Action Plans;
  • Experience in carbon accounting and preparing corporate carbon inventories;
  • Experience in social impact evaluation and measurement of social impact programs;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, science, sustainability, social impact or related disciplines.
