Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement team strategies to achieve annual performance targets.
- Collaborate with senior team members to increase the company's visibility in the marketplace through productive marketing efforts, product development, and business expansion.
- Underwrite new and renewal business in accordance with allocated authority levels, adhering to business policies and procedures.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Leading teams of underwriters to meet regional business needs.
- Providing regular performance reports on the Casualty Region book.
- Participating in calls and meetings with local and group managers as required.
- Strategic planning and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in underwriting principles and practices.
