Job Description

Northern Region Casualty Underwriting Leaders oversee the management of Arch's Casualty portfolio and lead teams in the Northern Region. This includes NSW and QLD, where they underwrite and manage a profitable book of business within the regional market.

These professionals develop strategic plans to achieve annual performance goals, collaborate with senior members to enhance the company's presence in the marketplace through effective marketing efforts, product development, and business growth.

The role involves underwriting new and renewal business according to allocated authority levels, ensuring compliance with business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement team strategies to achieve annual performance targets.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to increase the company's visibility in the marketplace through productive marketing efforts, product development, and business expansion.
  • Underwrite new and renewal business in accordance with allocated authority levels, adhering to business policies and procedures.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Leading teams of underwriters to meet regional business needs.
  • Providing regular performance reports on the Casualty Region book.
  • Participating in calls and meetings with local and group managers as required.
