Mechanical Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Installation Specialist to drive the successful installation and testing of mission-critical mechanical equipment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is installed, tested, and ready for operation in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of comprehensive test plans for mechanical equipment and systems
  • Vendor coordination and management to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials
  • Equipment inspection to verify adherence to vendor submittals and industry standards
  • Test and documentation of equipment installation and startup to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Design specification review and project schedule documentation to facilitate smooth project execution
  • Quality assurance and quality control of mechanical equipment installation and startup
  • Execution of test scripts to confirm equipment and system functionality
  • Implementation of safe work practices and customer engagement strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a mechanical or engineering field or equivalent years' experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in commissioning and qualification in a regulated industry
  • Experience in mission-critical construction/commissioning, facilities, and mechanical equipment startup walk-downs & troubleshooting
