Caravan Park Attendant Role Summary

The Caravan Park Attendant is a versatile role that focuses on delivering exceptional service and customer satisfaction, while maintaining the park's grounds to a high standard of presentation and safety.

  • Face-to-face customer liaison at the parks, including providing information, addressing customer complaints, handling cash transactions, receiving maintenance requests, and other customer interactions as required.
  • Responding to customer correspondence and inquiries via email and phone.
  • Receiving and processing booking reservations using the Rooms Management System (RMS) software - via phone, email, online, and in-person.
  • Performing various grounds care duties such as weeding, spraying, pruning, mowing, mulching, sawing, lopping, raking, fertilizing, irrigation management, and other associated land care tasks within caravan park sites.
  • Undertaking general maintenance duties like minor carpentry repairs, painting, handyman-style repairs requiring power tools, and other general equipment in cabins, communal ablution blocks, kitchens, office buildings, fences, and other items and equipment within caravan parks.
  • Cleaning duties involve sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing, laundering, making beds, washing dishes, emptying bins, handling rubbish, and other general cleaning tasks in cabins, communal ablution blocks, kitchens, office buildings, and other general structures on caravan park sites.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to visitors, tourists, students, and families staying at the caravan parks.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the caravan park, its facilities, and amenities are maintained to a high standard.
  • Maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks related to customer interactions, bookings, and maintenance requests.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as customer service, maintenance, and grounds care.
