Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable production supervisor to lead our operations crews.

This role is responsible for managing safe and effective operations of the Karara magnetite concentrator, including crushing, grinding, magnetic separation, flotation, thickening, and filtration.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a strong background in process operations and a previous leadership role in the mining/heavy industry.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in processing leadership roles within the mining industry (Supervisory/Team Lead role)
  • WA 'C' Class Drivers Licence
  • Schedule 26 Appointed Persons
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude with sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of mineral processing and capability to deliver continuous improvement strategies
  • Extensive experience with isolation systems & procedures
  • A sound understanding and previous experience in mineral processing operations, including crushing, grinding, flotation, thickening, tailings disposal, and management
  • National Police clearance
  • Experience using SCADA Software (Control Room System) and exposure to Magnetic Separation and Magnetite Processing will be highly regarded

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee effective operation of the plant on a shift-to-shift basis
  • Ensure consistency in plant operation across shifts by following operational systems and procedures
  • Liaise with metallurgy, maintenance, mining, and TSF operators and train loading
  • Manage shift manning levels
  • Ensure effective housekeeping in the plant
  • Reporting as required
  • Work closely with Metallurgists to identify process issues
  • Identify and communicate incidents during shift
